2. Mobile Number Authentication

Practice Dost primarily uses One-Time Password (OTP) authentication for account registration and login.

When you register using your mobile number:

  • OTPs are used solely for authentication and account security.
  • We do not access your SMS messages without your explicit permission.
  • Standard SMS or mobile carrier charges may apply depending on your telecom operator.

You are responsible for ensuring that the mobile number used for registration belongs to you or that you are authorized to use it.


3. Referral Program Information

If you participate in our Refer & Earn or similar promotional programs, we may collect:

  • Referred user's referral code
  • Referral history
  • Referral rewards
  • Eligibility status
  • Reward redemption records

Payments are securely processed through Razorpay.

Important: Practice Dost does not store your complete debit card number, credit card number, CVV, UPI PIN, internet banking credentials, or banking passwords.

All payment information is processed directly by Razorpay in accordance with its own Privacy Policy and applicable security standards.


5. Information Collected Automatically

When you use the App, certain information is collected automatically to improve performance, security, and user experience.

To provide and improve our services, Practice Dost integrates with carefully selected third-party service providers. These providers may process limited personal information on our behalf and only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

12. Payment Processing

Practice Dost offers optional paid subscriptions, premium mock tests, and other educational content.

All online payments are securely processed through Razorpay.

When you make a payment, Razorpay may collect information including:

  • Transaction amount
  • Transaction reference number

Practice Dost does not store your:

  • Debit card number
  • Credit card number
  • CVV
  • UPI PIN
  • Internet banking password

Payment information is processed directly by Razorpay using industry-standard security measures and is governed by Razorpay's own Privacy Policy.


13. Advertising

Practice Dost may display advertisements to support the operation and maintenance of the App.

We currently use Google AdMob to serve advertisements.

Google AdMob may collect certain information including:

  • Android Advertising ID
  • Device information
  • IP address
  • Approximate location (derived from IP)
  • App usage information
  • Advertising performance information

This information may be used to:

  • Display relevant advertisements
  • Limit repetitive advertisements

You can manage advertising preferences or reset your Advertising ID through your Android device settings.

Practice Dost does not control how Google processes information collected through Google AdMob. Such processing is governed by Google's own privacy policies.

You may disable push notifications at any time through your device settings. Disabling notifications may affect your ability to receive important service-related updates.


17. Referral and Reward Program

If you participate in our referral or reward programs, we may process information necessary to:

  • Credit referral rewards

  • Monitor abuse of promotional offers

The Company reserves the right to suspend or cancel referral benefits where fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive activity is detected.

Referral rewards have no cash value unless expressly stated otherwise.

26. Withdrawal of Consent

Where we rely on your consent to process personal information, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

Withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Please note that withdrawing consent for certain processing activities may affect your ability to access some features or services within the App.


27. Account and Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your Practice Dost account at any time by:

  • Using the Delete Account option available within the App (where provided); or
  • Contacting us at info@practicedost.com using your registered email address or mobile number.

Upon receiving a valid deletion request, we will process it within a reasonable period, generally within 30 days, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

Following deletion:

  • Your account will be permanently disabled.
  • Personal information associated with your account will be deleted or anonymized where legally permissible.
  • Certain information may be retained where required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, tax obligations, or enforcement of our legal rights.

Deleted accounts generally cannot be restored.


28. Children's Privacy

Practice Dost is intended for individuals aged 13 years and above.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without appropriate authorization where required by law.

If we become aware that personal information relating to a child under 13 has been collected in violation of this Privacy Policy, we will take reasonable steps to delete such information as soon as practicable.
